This week has been a really good running week.
George took me out again on Thursday and we set out to do a 6 mile route. We were practicing my pacing for the half marathon. For the first half sticking to a slower and more comfortable pace and if I can up the pace for the last half.
Splits come in at:
Mile 1: 11:42
Mile 2: 11:19
Mile 3: 11:44
Mile 4: 11:41
Mile 5: 11:04
Mile 6: 11:04
Mile .6: 9:40
I really enjoyed this run, it felt really good to push myself harder than I normally do and it felt really good to be able to keep up the pace on the second half, possibly first time I have ever had negative splits. I think I'm finally getting the hang of this.
